Data Deletion Request
We respect your right to control your personal data. Use this page to learn how to request deletion of the information we hold about you.
What Data Can Be Deleted?
Upon a verified deletion request we will permanently remove the following categories of personal data associated with your account or identity:
- Account & Profile Information — name, email address, phone number, company name, profile picture, and any other data you provided during registration or via contact forms.
- Third-Party Login Data — user ID, profile information, and access tokens received from Meta (Facebook / Instagram), Google, or other social login providers.
- Usage & Analytics Data — interaction logs, clickstream data, and device identifiers tied to your account.
- Communications — messages, support tickets, and feedback you sent us.
- Cookies & Local Storage — marketing and analytics identifiers linked to your sessions.
What Data May Be Retained?
In limited circumstances we may be required to retain certain records after your deletion request, including:
- Transaction and billing records required by tax and accounting laws.
- Data necessary to comply with a legal obligation, court order, or regulatory requirement.
- Anonymized or aggregated data that can no longer identify you.
We will inform you if any part of your request cannot be fulfilled and explain the reason.
How to Request Deletion
Option 1 — Email Us
Send an email to privacy@flokou.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Please include:
- Your full name and the email address associated with your account.
- The specific services or platforms you used (e.g., flokou.com, a Flokou mobile app, Facebook Login integration).
- Any additional details to help us locate your data.
Option 2 — Revoke Access via Facebook
If you signed in with Facebook, you can also remove our app from your Facebook settings:
- Go to Facebook → Settings → Apps and Websites.
- Find "Flokou" in the list of active apps.
- Click Remove and confirm.
When an app is removed through Facebook, Meta notifies us and we automatically initiate deletion of the associated Platform Data within 30 days.
Processing Timeline
Acknowledgement
We confirm receipt of your request within 2 business days.
Verification
We verify your identity to prevent unauthorized deletions. This may take up to 5 business days.
Deletion
Your personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days of verification. You will receive a confirmation email.
Confirmation of Deletion
Once your data has been successfully deleted, we will send a confirmation email to the address on file. After deletion you will no longer be able to log in or recover any data associated with your account.
